Qatar set to host 62nd ARABOSAI executive council meet

The State Audit Bureau will host the 62nd meeting of the Executive Council of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) that will continue its work over two days at the Doha Sheraton Hotel.
Headed by State Audit Bureau President and Executive Council of ARABOSAI Chairman Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saoud Al Thani, the meeting will be participated by the heads of the supreme audit institutions in the Arab countries that are members of the executive council.
The meeting will discuss many important topics on the agenda, including the report of the chairman on his activity and that of the council since its 61st meeting and the proposal of the chairman on development initiatives for the benefit of the organisation.
The meeting will also discuss the reports of the general secretariat and sub-committees of the organisation, and the reports of the bodies will also be presented for its participation in the work of the committees and working groups emanating from the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI).
Adoption of the final budget for the year 2020, and the estimated budget for the year 2021 will also be discussed during the meeting.
Qatar is one of the biggest supporters of ARABOSAI and the State Audit Bureau holds the presidency of the Executive Council for 2019-2022 period.
